lip service

Our youngest daughter, Reese, is a wild child. She is totally fearless, and loves living on the edge of whatever! Here is a picture of her first busted lip.

It only took seconds for her to brush it off, and climb back up on the couch and continue on.... Things like this make my mom laugh. Apparently Reese is just like her Daddy. Why is this so funny for grandparents, don't they remember how much of a pain in the rear it was?

ajaxWrite

ajaxWrite is a web version of Microsoft Word. Give it a shot, it works very well.

Here is something funny to me. ajaxWrite, a very web 2.0 company and tool right...they have a forum, not a blog. What is up with that?

wordpress challange

Here is a shout out to all the Wordpress guys and gals who can create a great theme.

I am wanting to change over to Wordpress, but if I am going to make the move, I want the look and feel to rock. I have an idea of what I want, and am asking for someone to help me accomplish it.

If you are up for the challenge, send me an email (terry.storchATgmail.com).

Ts Gmail

Here is a great site for Gmail signatures tags.

Update: Will informs us that his corporate virus scanner picked up a JS/Wonka virus when I hit that page. So, proceed with caution.

and were back

As Joey Mack on SNL would say...

Jifa-Joey Mack

. . ."And were Back!"

It is great to have the Blackberry back! The twitching has gone away. Thanks for all your prayers and support through this challenging time.

communication breakdown

Communication breakdown,
It’s always the same,
I’m having a nervous breakdown,
Drive me insane! -Led Zeppelin

On Sunday I lost my BlackBerry. Yes, my phone, my PDA, my connection to the world...gone. it has been communication breakdown. I feel like I am on day 2 of a 28 day program....

I should restore communication to the world today around lunch. I am ready for the twitching in my arms and neck to go away.

chasing daylight

Look, if you had, one shot, or one opportunity
To seize everything you ever wanted-One moment
Would you capture it, or just let it slip?
-Eminem

Chasing Daylight, Erwin McManus' book is now available in a podcast. I LOVE THIS BOOK and this message.

risk ... reward

Today the Dallas Cowboys signed Terrell Owens, the well know, well documented trouble maker. And all I have to say is...GREAT JOB JERRY!

I absolutely love the fact that Jerry Jones went out on a limb and signed Terrell. Are there risks...sure. There are risks in anything that we do. I think the rewards far out weigh the risks in this situation.

I have never been more exited for the NFL season to start than right now!

"This is America's Team and I feel right at home," Owens said. "I am a star among stars now."

college, such a waste

Catchy title right?

I am not a college grad. School was not in the cards for me. I tried, but it did not take long to see that I was totally wasting my parents money, and my time.

Anyway, Robin (my wife) pointed me to a great post, Is College for Everyone?

I loved this:

If a man hasn't got a talent for making money, college won't knock it into him. And if a man has a talent for making money, he won't need college.

It's not all about money, but I think you get the point.

Update: Let me make it clear... I do not have anything against people going to college. I don't look down on people that go to college, and surely do not think they are weak. My wife went to college and I love her with all my heart, and she is soooo much smarter that I am.  Thanks to a good friend who brought it to my attention that this post sounded a little arrogant! That was never my intention.

Peace out...
